Rates

The rate structure is incredibly simple.

I prefer to work at $100/hour for whatever service required. This includes time for travel, extended photo processing or any added rental expenses. If you prefer to work under a “standard” per photo mechanism I can do that as well.

Most family “portrait” photo shoots are at least an hour long. These sessions can go longer, but as long as you have a good idea before time of what images you want, the sessions are generally quite quick.

An engagement or bridal shoot generally lasts an hour or two.  (This doesn’t include the time for the bride to get ready.)

Weddings require three times the length of the wedding and reception. The extra time is needed for post processing the images. Your wedding is one of your most important events and I want to ensure your photos are the best they can possibly be.  These typically range $700-$2000 for a single photographer. A secondary photographer (recommended for formal weddings) will add just the time they are needed before and during the ceremony and at the reception.

When do you start your hourly rate?

As soon as I’m on-site and we are doing the shoot in Davie County, NC.  If I need to go outside Davie County, we will have to agree on “expenses.”  Some events may require me to rent specialty equipment.

Do you have a day rate?

My day rate of $1500 is generally for commercial or corporate photography, but it happens to average out to be the same for the weddings I photograph as well.

Do you offer any other services?

Yes I do.  I do photo retouching and restoration, slide shows, video montages, photo books, cards, posters, etc.  Just tell me what you are interested in, and I’ll get it done.

Are there any exceptions?

Of course I offer discounts on referrals.
